Crew Visa Program

Overview

How to Apply

Step 1
Each crew member must pay the visa application fee.

Step 2
Each crew member must complete the Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application (DS-160) form.

Step 3
CVP member must schedule an appointment by using CVP credential through the online appointment system.The CVP member will need the following information of each crew member in order to schedule an appointment:

  • Their passport number
  • The MRV fee payment receipt number
  • The ten (10) digit barcode number from their DS-160 confirmation page
  • Passport issuance date and Passport Expiration Date

Step 4
Each crew member must visit the U.S. Embassy or Consulate on the date and time of their visa interview. He or she must bring:

  • A printed copy of their appointment letter
  • DS-160 confirmation page
  • One photograph taken within the last six months
  • A current passport and all old passports
  • The original visa fee payment receipt
  • Other documents related to their travel purposes as a crew member, i.e guarantee letter, seaman book, BST, etc.

Applications without all of these items will not be accepted.
