Hours of Operation
English and Norwegian speaking customer service agents are ready to assist you from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local Norwegian time and 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time in the United States. The call center is closed weekends and Norwegian national holidays, as observed by the U.S. posts.

Check the Status of Your Passport
The status of the passport delivery can be traced on the Posten Norway web site by introducing the UID of your profile into the search field.
Instant: Enter your passport number below to check on the status.
Email: Send an email to email@example.com and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled, and you will receive an automatic response with the status.

WARNING: Please verify the Skype ID of the US Visa Service Desk before adding it. Our Skype ID is ustraveldocs-Norway. We are aware of impostors who use similar Skype names pretending to be associated with the US Visa Service Desk, and are advising applicants to pay the fees via Western Union or Moneygram. We do not support these payment options. We strongly advise you to verify payment instructions on the Bank and Payment options page before paying your MRV Fee.
