Message for applicants waiting for their passports

The Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs is currently experiencing technical problems with our visa systems.  This issue is worldwide and is not specific to any particular individual country, citizenship document, or visa category. We apologize to applicants who are experiencing delays or are unable to obtain a visa at this time. We are working urgently to correct the problem and expect our system to be fully operational again soon.  As soon as normal operations have resumed, your passport and visa will be sent via the TNT delivery method you have previously chosen.

Important:

There are instructions for new payment options on the fee options page which you should read carefully and follow exactly.  Otherwise you will experience serious delays in getting your receipt. Payments made incorrectly are non-refundable.
