Hours of Operation
English speaking customer service agents are ready to assist you 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Australia Eastern Time (9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Australian Eastern Daylight Time) Monday through Friday. Callers from the United States can reach the contact centres between 7:00 p.m. to 3.00 a.m. Sunday through to Thursday, and 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Friday Eastern Standard Time (EST). The call center is closed on U.S. holidays and Australian holidays which are observed by all consular posts.

Skype for Business: To use Skype to speak to a customer service representative during regular hours of operation, add a new contact to your Microsoft or Skype for Business account with the Skype for Business name ustraveldocs-Australia@ustravelhub.com.
Please verify the Skype ID of the US Visa Service Desk before adding it. Our Skype ID is ustraveldocs-Australia@ustravelhub.com. Agents will not instruct you to pay your MRV fee over the phone; we strongly advise you to verify payment instructions on the Bank and Payment options page before paying your MRV Fee. Our call center agents will not engage in a chat conversation via Skype. A chat option is available through a different application on this page.

After Your Interview
If you have already attended your interview and your inquiry is in relation to pending Non-immigrant or Immigrant Visa Applications, please direct your question to the corresponding email address of the Consulate at which you attended your interview.

Check the Status of Your Passport
Instant: Enter your passport number below to check on the status. If your passport is ready for pick-up, please collect it in a timely manner and bring supporting documents. If your passport is not collected in a timely manner it will be sent back to the Embassy or Consulate.
