Immigrant and K Visa Fees

All Immigrant Visa fees may be made in either U.S. dollars or the equivalent amount in Bangladeshi currency at the consular exchange rate on the day of the applicant's interview. We accept cash only. Personal checks are not accepted. A combination of U.S. dollars and Bangladeshi currency will not be accepted.

An applicant who has paid the immigrant visa fee to the National Visa Center (NVC) is not required to pay additional fees unless he or she has paid only a partial amount to NVC. Anyone subject to a balance of IV fees will be informed during his or her visa interview.

K applicants must click here to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable Machine Readable Visa (MRV) application fee.

Only prospective adoptive parents whose child(ren) is/are entering the United States under either the Orphan or Hague Process, Iraqi and Afghan special immigrants who were employed by the U.S. government, returning residents, and those issued K visas are exempt from the new fee. This USCIS website has more details on the fee, including contact information for USCIS, if there are further questions.
