If you have received a letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) saying you may begin online processing, you must scan and upload all necessary civil and financial documents to the online Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) at https://ceac.state.gov/IV. However, if your police certificate is from another country and is in a sealed envelope, do NOT open the envelope or scan the document. Please bring it to your visa interview.
