Immigrant and Fiancé Visa Fees

On this page:

Overview

All immigrant visa fees are payable in U.S. dollars or Fijian dollars based on the U.S. Consular Exchange rate in Fiji on the day of the applicant's interview. Payments may be made in cash (USD or FJD) or a certified bank cheque. Personal checks are not accepted. A combination of U.S. dollars and Fijian dollars will not be accepted.

Applicants who have paid their immigrant visa fee to NVC are not required to pay additional fees unless the applicant has paid only a partial amount to NVC. Anyone subject to a balance of IV fees will be informed during his or her visa interview.

All fiancé/e (K1/K2) visa applicants must pay a non-refundable, non-transferable Machine Readable Visa (MRV) application fee via Payment in Person at a Post Fiji branch. This payment option is paid within our online applicant system. You must first register on the applicant site and choose the ‘schedule your appointment’ option to access the payment option.  Before going to a Post Fiji, print the applicable U.S. visa fee deposit slip.(note: please print the correct deposit slip for the visa type you are applying for as the visa processing fee is non-refundable and non-transferable). Take the printed deposit slip with you to pay your fee.  Post Fiji will issue you a receipt upon payment.  This receipt cannot be replaced if it is lost.

Please note that for Payment in Person at a Post Fiji branch, the receipt is not activated immediately. A K visa applicant can only use the receipt paid at a Post Fiji branch for appointment scheduling after the receipt has been activated in our system the following business day.
