Overview

Presently group appointment functionality is not available at the U.S. Embassy in Colombo. Applicants are advised to follow the process of scheduling regular appointments and may add individuals travelling together as dependents.

How to Apply

Step 1
A designated group coordinator uses the online appointment system to schedule the appointment and adds others travelling together as dependents. Please confirm whether or not you need to apply for a visa. You may not need to apply for a new U.S. visa if you already hold a valid U.S. visa or are a national of a Visa Waiver Program participating country. If you do need to apply for a nonimmigrant visa, please follow the steps mentioned on the "Apply for a Visa" page.

Step 2
Each group member must pay the machine-readable visa (MRV) application fee. In the case of making a bulk fee payment, you will receive only one receipt number per transaction and will use this receipt number for each valid MRV fee paid.
