Hold At Locations
(HAL) are the Aramex offices where your passports are held for delivery in case your address is not serviceable by Aramex. You can choose the most convenient HAL location (closest to your current residence or office) from the list displayed to you when scheduling your appointment. You will be shown the HAL offices available for collection after entering your passport delivery address in the system prior to confirming your interview appointment.

Passports will be held by Aramex for collection for only 10 working days. If not collected within the specified time period, your passport will be returned to the Embassy/Consulate.

To collect your passport from Aramex, you must present your own government-issued photo ID card (e.g., MyKad) and the numbered ticket received at your interview (or the numbered receipt received when you dropped off your passport, if an interview was not required).

If receiving the passport for immediate family members, you must show a copy of the applicant’s government-issued photo ID in addition to your own ID and the numbered ticket.

If receiving the passport of someone who is not a member of your immediate family, in addition to the applicant’s government-issued ID, your ID and the numbered ticket, you must present an authorization letter, signed by the applicant, stating:

  • Full name of the representative as stated on the ID card.
  • Name of the applicant whose passport is to be collected.
  • Ticket number of applicant whose passport is to be collected. Immigrant visa applicants must provide their case t number in the letter.

Please note: In case of a group/family, a single letter of authority with the required information for each of the applicants will be accepted.

Aramex will be unable to deliver the passport if any of the above mentioned documents are not available.
