Overview

If your visa application is approved, your passport and visa will be returned to you using Premium Home Delivery Services.

The cost of the delivery is 17.9 EUR paid on the GTS Premium website upon registering the document delivery address. The delivery fee must be paid before the U.S. Embassy releases the passport.

No passport pick-up or alternate delivery methods are available.

Your documents will be returned to your home/office address provided during the delivery address registration. Please make sure you provide a correct and complete address in Slovakia, along with at least one correct phone number.

You will receive a notification via e-mail and SMS as soon as your passport is ready to be delivered to you.

The delivery timeline is 2 - 4 business days.

During the delivery process, the couriers will make 3 delivery attempts. If unsuccessful, the passport will be returned to the US Embassy in Bratislava.

Check the Status of Your Visa

You can check the status of your application any time at this website: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx. Please wait at least three business days following your visa interview to check on the status of your application. The system may not have updated the status of your application prior to that time, and thus the message you receive may not reflect the actual status of your application.

For your convenience, you have several options to choose from to track the location of your passport.

Instant: Enter your passport number below to check on the status.

 

 

If your status shows "Origination Scan", it means that your passport has left the Embassy or Consulate, and it is being sent out for delivery to the address you have chosen. It is however not available yet. The passport will be sent out for delivery only if the delivery address is registered and the delivery fee is paid on the GTS Premium website.

When the status shows "Ready for Pickup", it means that the delivery address registration was successful and the courier is about to deliver your passport at the address indicated during the delivery address registration.

The Embassy or the Consulate cannot help you regarding the status of your passport delivery. Please do not contact the Embassy or Consulate regarding the status of your passport delivery.

Email: Send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled. Do not include any additional text. You will receive an automatic response with the status.
