Apply for a U.S. Visa
in the Philippines
Schedule/Change My Appointment
Applicants for U.S. visas are required to appear in person for a visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where they reside. Applicants must schedule an appointment for that interview, either online or through the call center.
In order to schedule a nonimmigrant visa appointment, you must have the following information and documents available:
- A passport valid for travel to the United States with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions). If more than one person is included in the passport, each person desiring a visa must submit an application.
- BPI fee receipt
- DS-160 confirmation page
- E-mail address
- If applicable, required documents based on visa class (such as a petition approval for petition-based visas; see detailed lists in the information provided on this website about visa classes).
Appointment Wait Times
Remember, apply early! Though visa processing time is typically one week, processing time for specific cases may vary due to individual circumstances and other special requirements.
